Avidemux is intended for general users and professionals. The program includes many tools for video processing. Despite the fact, that Avidemux is free, it doesn't contain advertising, it is multi-platform and has an intuitive user interface.

Features of the video editor
Import audio streams in the following formats: AAC, AC3, AMR, MP3 / MP2, WAV, WMA and Vorbis.
Import video streams in the following formats: DV, H.264, MPEG1, ASF, MPEG2, MPEG4, AVI, VP3, WMV, VP8, OGM, MOV, MKV, FLV and SVQ3. In order to maintain more formats, it is required to get additional codecs. For example, a free codec pack K-Lite Codec Pack.
Import images in formats: BMP, JPEG, and PNG.
Video editing. The program has all the necessary functions for the ordinary or professional video editing. For example, you can insert, copy, and delete certain parts of the video, resize frames and split a video into the several parts.
