Kaspersky AVP Tool overview
Kaspersky AVP Tool gained the trust of many Internet users. Within the short period this antivirus software can find and neutralize your PC against various malware objects.
Platform: Windows 7, Windows 8 (8.1), Windows XP, Vista or Windows 10 (32-bit & 64-bit).
Features of the Kaspersky AVP Tool
Check the system for viruses, using signature and heuristic analysis. By default, Kaspersky checks system memory, boot sectors and startup section.
Scans files by the format or extension (including archives, installation packages, and OLE-objects).
Find and remove rootkits.
Scan manually. Attention! This method should be used if the automatic check did not help. Kaspersky Anti-Virus will collect information about your system (startup objects, drivers, system processes, services used, etc.) and give you the opportunity to send the report on the "Anti-virus service 911" to get the script. Basically, scripts, received from the support service, help to destroy viruses and bring the system back in the order.
Specify the maximum amount of time (in sec.) for each scanning file. This function will significantly reduce the search time of viruses.
Set the security level (high, medium and low). By default it is set medium level. However, if you suspect that your computer has a lot of viruses, it is necessary to establish a high level of security.
Change the level of heuristic analysis (superficial, medium and deep). Depending on the level, Kaspersky analyzes your system for suspicious activity. If such activity is presented in the system, anti-virus assigns the status of the object "suspicious" or "Malicious". The probability of finding malware is higher, when you use a deep analysis. However, it will take more system resources and time.
